How Can An Employee Make a
Pledge?

If you haven't received a personalized pledge form from your department
coordinator, you may print a copy of the current pledge form in Portable
Document Format
(Pledge forms should be filled out and returned to your department
coordinator. If you do not know who your coordinator is, please call
626-4671 and we will be happy to provide you with this information.)

Making a
Contribution:
Employees have three choices for payment in this year's campaign.
- Payroll Deduction (Either by form or on-line)
- Personal Check (Payable to the United Way or to the UA Foundation)
- Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa)
Please include a signature on your pledge sheet. Pledge forms without
signatures cannot be processed.
Designating a
Gift:
This year UA employees have more choice than ever in deciding where to
direct their contribution.
United Way of Tucson and
Southern Arizona:
UA Employees Can Contribute to:
- United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona's Community's Impact
Fund
- Any number of the three United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona
impact areas (Ready to Learn, Strong Families, Independent Seniors), or
Helping the Working Poor Fund
- One or more nonprofit organization(s) having 501 (c)3 tax status
UA Faculty and Staff Campaign:
UA Employees Can Contribute to:
- Scholarships and Fellowships
- Faculty Support
- Presidents Fund for Excellence
- One or more University program or area of choice
UA employees may give through both the United Way and UA Foundation by submitting payroll deductions for both organizations
through employee link or by filling out both forms and returning both sections to their department coordinator.
Donors wishing to give to more agencies, areas or programs than they can
list on the form, may attach a sheet with additional designation
information to their personalized form. Additional designations must
include the total amount that the donor intends to give to each additional
area.
Undesignated contributions will be directed to the following areas: United Way: "Community Impact Fund" UA Faculty and Staff
Campaign: "Presidents Fund for Excellence".
